Living History & Daily Tours

Living History and daily tours as a free added bonus to your visit!

Our Living History guides will be on-hand (safe and socially distanced) to give you all the information you need to know about Viking weapons, the history of the barber surgeon, medieval medicine and herbs, and even showing you how to play Hnefatafl (Viking chess!)  They are stationed around our exhibition and are happy to answer all your Viking and Medieval queries.

We also provide daily tours with our specialist tour guides. Information on tours on the date of your visit will be available on your arrival to Dublinia. All guided tours will be subject to Public Health Guidelines.

Walking tours of Viking and Medieval Dublin: Walking tours of Viking and Medieval Dublin take place at 11.00am Thursday to Sunday. Information on the walking tour will be available on your arrival to Dublinia. It does not require advance booking before your visit and is included in your general admission ticket.
Please note: Sunday 3rd and Sunday 10th October – walking tour will take place at 2.00pm instead of 11.00am.
