To celebrate International week of Deaf people 2024, Dublinia has developed a very special tour for the Irish Sign Language community, taking place in Dublinia on Sunday the 29th of September at 11.00am.
Working with an ISL interpreter, take a journey and see what was life like in Dublin in Viking times. Learn all about Viking warships, see the weaponry and learn the skills of being a Viking warrior. Learn the story behind the remains of a Viking warrior found in Dublin. Try on Viking clothes, become a slave and stroll down a mucky Viking street. Visit a smoky and cramped Viking house and learn about the myths and mysteries surrounding the Vikings and their legacy.
