Visitors on the walking tour will explore how Dublin became the capital city of Ireland and discover how Dublinia got its name.
Follow in the footsteps of Dublin’s Vikings as they grew to become great warriors and build their ships along the banks of the river.
Trace the route of the old city walls and learn how the Viking settlement developed into a thriving Medieval city which laid the foundations for the streets and areas you know today.
Happening on Saturday the 9th and 16th of July and Saturday the 6th and 13th of August at 11.00am
Walking Tour begins at Dublinia reception at 11.00am and last 1 hour and 30 minutes, followed by a self-guided visit to the Dublinia exhibitions.
The Walking Tour (which includes entry to Dublinia) is strictly pre-booked only. Max 25 places available, ticket only valid for the day of the Walking Tour.
